The Solvil et Titus The Cape W06-03341-009 is a 42mm men's automatic dive watch in black ion-plated stainless steel with a unidirectional dive bezel, a dark green textured dial, Arabic numerals at three, six, nine, and twelve, a date window, white hands and indices with luminous fill, and a 20mm black silicone strap. Water resistance is 20 ATM (200m). Sapphire crystal glass protects the dial. Powered by the NH35 automatic movement.

Design

The 42mm case in black ion-plated stainless steel sits 13.85mm thick — built for underwater legibility and impact resistance. The unidirectional dive bezel rotates counterclockwise only, with minute markings for the first fifteen minutes and five-minute numerals at 15, 30, and 45. A luminous triangle marker at twelve o'clock on the bezel sets the dive timing reference point. The screw-down crown sits at three o'clock.

The dark green dial carries a frosted, grainy texture — an organic surface that catches light differently from the sunburst finishes used across the dress collections. White Arabic numerals at twelve, three, six, and nine are applied with luminous fill for underwater legibility. White baton indices with luminous fill mark the remaining hours. White hands — hours, minutes, seconds — carry broad luminous surfaces. A date window sits between three and four o'clock. "Automatic / Water Resistant / 200M/660FT" is printed below the Titus logo.

The black silicone strap at 20mm features a pin buckle with a textured surface. The silicone is lightweight, waterproof, and flexible — suited to dive use and quick drying. Sapphire crystal glass protects the dial. Water resistance is 20 ATM (200m).

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an automatic movement?
The NH35 is a self-winding mechanical movement — it converts the natural motion of your wrist into energy via a weighted rotor, storing it in a mainspring. When worn daily, the watch runs continuously; if left unworn for more than approximately 41 hours, the power reserve depletes and the watch stops. Simply set the time and wear it to restart.
How does the dive bezel work?
The unidirectional bezel rotates counterclockwise only — a safety feature that prevents accidental extension of a timed dive. Align the triangle marker at twelve o'clock with the minute hand before entering the water. As time passes, the elapsed minutes read directly from the bezel scale. The bezel clicks at each minute increment.
Can I dive with this watch?
Yes. The 20 ATM (200m) water resistance meets the ISO standard for a diver's watch. It is suitable for recreational swimming, snorkelling, and scuba diving. Avoid operating the crown while submerged, and rinse the watch with fresh water after exposure to salt water.
What is the warranty coverage?
Every Solvil et Titus watch carries a 2-year international warranty from the date of processing, covering manufacturing defects in the movement and case. Warranty service is handled directly through Solvil et Titus boutiques. Normal wear, battery replacement, and physical damage are not covered.

Solvil et Titus was established in 1887 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, by Paul Ditisheim — a watchmaker whose chronometers earned first-class certificates at the Kew Observatory. Today the brand is part of the Stelux Group, carrying forward the belief that a watch is more than an instrument: it is a mark of the time you choose to keep.
