The Solvil et Titus The Letter W06-03345-001 is a 22mm women's quartz watch with a distinctive circle-in-square case in light gold stainless steel — a round dial framed within a rectangular outer case with open cutout corners. White dial with gold baton indices and gold hands, the heritage "Solvil et Titus Since 1887" wordmark, and a 14mm dark brown crocodile-embossed leather strap. Sapphire crystal glass. Powered by the VC01 quartz movement.

Design

The case is the defining element of The Letter collection: a rectangular outer frame in light gold with open cutout corners that reveal the round bezel and dial sitting within. The circle-in-square geometry gives the watch an architectural quality — two shapes in conversation. At 22mm and 7.9mm thick, the proportions are jewellery-scaled.

The white dial carries a clean, bright ground with gold applied baton indices at every hour. Gold hands — hours, minutes, seconds — sweep across the face. The heritage "Solvil et Titus Since 1887" wordmark sits below twelve o'clock in a classical script. A time-only layout, clean and uninterrupted. The crown is gold and sits flush at three o'clock.

The dark brown leather strap at 14mm features a pin buckle, with a crocodile-embossed texture. Sapphire crystal glass protects the dial — harder and more scratch-resistant than mineral glass, retaining its clarity over years of daily wear. Water resistance is 3 ATM (30m).

The Letter Collection

Words that stay. Time that remembers.

The Letter collection draws from the elegance of handwritten correspondence — slim cases, classical dials, and proportions that carry the same quiet formality. The circle-in-square case is the collection's signature: two geometric forms brought together, something written with care, worn with intention, and kept close.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the circle-in-square case design?
The Letter's signature case places a round dial and bezel inside a rectangular outer frame. The four corners are open — you can see through them to the wrist below. This architectural detail gives the watch a distinctive silhouette that sets it apart from conventional round or rectangular cases.
What is sapphire crystal glass?
Sapphire crystal is a synthetic material that resists scratches far better than mineral glass and maintains its clarity over years of daily wear. The Letter is one of the few collections in the range equipped with sapphire.
Can the leather strap be replaced?
Yes. The 14mm leather strap uses a standard pin buckle and can be replaced at any Solvil et Titus boutique or by a qualified watchmaker.
Is this watch water resistant?
The Letter W06-03345-001 is rated at 3 ATM — suitable for light splashes and brief contact with water (washing hands, light rain). Remove the watch before swimming, showering, or submersion. Avoid prolonged water contact with the leather strap.
What is the warranty coverage?
Every Solvil et Titus watch carries a 2-year international warranty from the date of processing, covering manufacturing defects in the movement and case. Warranty service is handled directly through Solvil et Titus boutiques. Normal wear, battery replacement, and physical damage are not covered.

Solvil et Titus was established in 1887 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, by Paul Ditisheim — a watchmaker whose chronometers earned first-class certificates at the Kew Observatory. Today the brand is part of the Stelux Group, carrying forward the belief that a watch is more than an instrument: it is a mark of the time you choose to keep.
